DRILL DESCRIPTION AND SET UP

We create a rectangle about 7x11m and divide it in half. We use 5 attackers and 2 defenders. We have 4 external offensive supports and 1 internal. The game starts by playing 4 vs. 2 in one half with the inner support assisting in the possession game. The 5th attacker waits in the other half (on the far side) to receive the ball. The goal of the attackers is to achieve "x" passes to unlock the right to transfer the ball to the other half of the exercise. If this happens then the side supports run to help there, the inner support turns his body in the other direction and the 5th attacker stays where he was before. Defenders must run to score in the other half of the exercise and retrieve the ball. If they manage to recover the ball they will have to exchange at least one pass between them. When the ball is lost by the attackers, there is the right to mark and retrieve inside the rectangle.

Let's face it! Realism is an element that should not be missed in any training session.
